Automated banking is exactly what it sounds like - all of the banking functions such as payments, transactions, share trades, etc are handled by a computer instead of by a person. This allows you to access it at any time, regardless of staff availability. This also helps us to ensure fair banking practices.
No money is 100% safe. But this is about as close to it as it can get. Your money is kept in an offshore which is an alliance dedicated to just holding money. It is protected from raids by both in-game protectorate treaties and some methods such as offshore hopping.
This is the one small part of our process that is done by humans. One of our loan officers will review your loan request and issue the loan. Requests are reviewed on a case by case basis, and usually assess things such as risk, duration of loan, value of loan and client-bank relationship when approving loans. Loans are issued on a first come, first serve basis.
Yes! You can take part in this venture as well. The bank generates profits on interest earned from loans, and in turn uses some of that profit to pay towards investors in monthly dividends. 50% of generated profits is paid out, while 50% is used for bank operations (staffing, technology, marketing, etc). Additionally, the shares you purchase will increase in value over time, and can be sold or traded with other PnW players.
